Raja D. Tharwani is the Chairman of the T&G Foundation. Before becoming Chairman of T&G, Tharwani held leadership roles in prominent businesses and charitable ventures.

He is the co-founder and MD of Satguru Arcade Pvt. Ltd., the biggest real estate company in Ajmer, delivering over 2 million square feet of Grade-A developments. His company, SAPL, has developed iconic buildings such as Bravia Residency, Bravia Hotels, Deepmala Residency, The Opera Apartments, Sai Dham Temple, and Satguru International School.

Most recently, Tharwani was one of the visionaries behind Satguru International Group’s Educational Arm. In this role, he led the establishment of Satguru International School, one of Ajmer’s finest educational institutions. His efforts across multiple ventures have generated significant employment for local youth, offering opportunities that might have otherwise necessitated migration to larger cities. Currently, his focus is on the T&G Foundation’s work in developing underprivileged communities through initiatives supporting widow empowerment, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability.

Before starting SAPL, Tharwani served as an officer in the Indian Railways.
